Our exciting 38-day journey through 6 South American countries

Aug 19, 2019 | Fimanbol

To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the creation of manbol, Fimanbol made a special trip to 6 countries in South America in 2019 with the aim of training professionals and sports lovers in the neighboring countries of Brazil.

The South American Circuit of Manbol was a challenge and so much for the delegation of manbol that departed from the Brazilian Amazon, crossing the country to perform the training and certification of professionals and exhibition of manbol with the support of partners from other countries where our sport was already played.

38 unforgettable days on the road

Our Brazilian team traveled more than 28 thousand kilometers of roads to strengthen the integration of manbol between 7 countries in South America. We started work in Montevideo, Uruguay with training in schools and universities in the country's capital. The second stop was in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where, in addition to training, we began the process of selecting sport ambassadors for the country. In Santiago, Chile, we received a warm welcome from friends, students and teachers with whom we stayed for 2 intense days of manbol workshops.

After crossing the Atacama desert, we visited Peru, where we were also warmly welcomed by our continental neighbors. In Ecuador, we had an intense routine of trips around the country to meet requests from partners and sportsmen and take the manbol to schools, universities and a Military Center in the country.

Our final destination was Colombia, a country with which Brazil has a very special connection. We went to Bogotá to train teachers and students and visit authorities as we have done in other countries.

Strengthening manbol in South America

The return route to Brazil was the same as we did on the outward journey and again we visited the countries where we had passed. We visited other cities, held meetings with other partners and made return commitments to train more than 600 teachers in the second circuit.

The South American Circuit of Manbol was made possible thanks to the effort of Fimanbol, lovers and partners of the sport as the Government of Pará that supported the project. With the 2020 pandemic, Fimanbol decided to evaluate new dates for the second circuit in South America that will include more countries on the continent.
